Toy Buildings, 1880-1980

This glorious compilation of photographs and descriptions of various type of toy buildings may not include the kind of block structures we build in this blog, but they are certainly kin, and the book will appeal to most of those who find their way here, and be a must-have for many.
Some of what is included is obvious - dollhouses, buildings for toy trains ...

... but there are some surprises, including castles and fortresses, and Western stockades.

The buildings are large and small, town and farm. The 220 page book is profusely illustrated and informatively commented.

Highly recommended.
